DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual Business Before Hours and Ole Timers Breakfast\, hosted during the Wilson County Fair – TN State Fair. \nCome enjoy light breakfast\, meet other professionals and support a Chamber member while having a great time. This event is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow Chamber members\, grow your network and learn about a great local business. As always\, you’ll have a chance to win big with our Chamber Pot! But remember — you must be present to win! \nThese networking events provide a relaxed way for members of the Chamber to connect with one another. Member organizations may host these events\, which bring together an average of 50-100 people\, to showcase their facilities. New members are introduced and may give a brief commercial about their business. \nChamber Pot Drawing\nDuring Business Before/After Hours events\, members have the opportunity to win the “Chamber Pot”.  All member names\, in good standing\, will be placed in the chamber pot prior to the event drawing. \nIf the member name drawn is in attendance\, he/she will be awarded the money amount.  The recipient drawn must be the current membership contact or company chosen representative on record at the Chamber office at the time of the event. \nCompanies may send a representative to attend on their behalf.  All attendees will be asked to register name and company being represented.  Only one company can be represented per name.\nExample: John Doe   ABCD Company \nIf there is no winner\, $25.00 is added to the chamber pot\, the money carries onto the next event\, not to exceed $1\,000\, minimum $250.00 \nOle Timers Award\nThe award to honor the Ole Timers is presented each year during the Business Before Hours Meeting which is hosted by Wilson County Promotions\, Inc. & the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday\, Aug. 18\, 7:30 AM in the Johnson Event Pavilion. \n \nMike Baker Award & Scholarship\nRecipients of the he Mike Baker Award\, sponsored by Wilson Bank & Trust and Wilson County Promotions; and the Mike Baker Scholarship\, sponsored by the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce\, Wilson County Promotions and Wilson Bank & Trust will be recognized at the event. \n

Shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. \nCary Harbrecht became a member of the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce in 1972.  He served on the Board of Directors and as Vice President of Membership from 1984-1985.  He served on the General Service Committee and was founder and chairman of the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber Golf Tournament.  Dr. Harbrecht passed away approximately two weeks prior to the first annual tournament. The event time 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Attendance for the event each year has been an average of 1\,200 people\, so this is a great opportunity to showcase your business as a sponsor\, restaurant or marketplace vendor. We have a rain date of Tuesday\, October 27\, 2026 set for any rescheduling from inclement weather. Participation in the Taste of Wilson County provides funding for the Wilson County Business & Education Coalition\, Chamber Education programs including Teacher Grants\, Wilson Books from Birth\, Tennessee Scholars and student scholarships.
