Local Teachers awarded Grants

Lebanon Wilson County Chamber Education Division, Business and Education Coalition and Jackie Gaither of Cumberland Real Estate hosted a Teacher Grant Breakfast Nov. 7 at Michael’s Café.  A special thank you to Jackie Gaither for his continued support, he has sponsored the breakfast for 17 years.

Twenty one grants were awarded totaling $8,919 for 2012 and over $157,000 since the first grants were awarded in 1996.
