Habitat for Humanity ReStore 1-Year Anniversary

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville is celebrating one impactful year of service through its Wilson County ReStore by recognizing the true heroes behind its success — the community. Since opening its doors on July 16, 2024, the store has become a powerful example of how shopping, donating, and volunteering can create lasting change.

To say thank you, the Wilson ReStore will host a one-year anniversary celebration on Saturday, July 12. From July 8–11, the store will feature daily specials announced on social media to show appreciation for its supporters. Follow along on Facebook and Instagram at @ReStoreWilson.

Located at 200 Granville Drive in Lebanon, the 25,000-square-foot Wilson ReStore has welcomed thousands of visitors over the past year.

“This celebration is about the people who’ve shown up — not just for our store, but for our mission,” said Jennifer Keaton, senior director of ReStores for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville. “Whether you donated furniture, volunteered your time, or stopped in to shop, you’ve made an impact. We want to celebrate you.”

Over the past year, the community has made a meaningful difference through more than 1,200 donations, over 13,000 purchases, and hundreds of hours volunteered. With more than 50,000 shoppers walking through the doors, every act of support has helped generate funding for Habitat’s homeownership program and brought people directly into the heart of the mission — making stable, affordable homeownership a reality for families in Wilson County.

This fall, Habitat will build its 100th Habitat home in Wilson County — a milestone that will take place in Lebanon, Tennessee.

The ReStore continues to offer new and gently used furniture, household goods, appliances, and building materials at reduced prices. The store is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and offers free pickup for large donated items, with priority pickup available for a small fee.
