John Grant Send-Off Celebration at Compassionate Hands

With deep gratitude, we honor John Grant for twelve years of exemplary service, vision, and unwavering dedication to the mission of Compassionate Hands. After a long season of discernment, John has clearly sensed God’s invitation into a new calling. He will be stepping away from staff at Compassionate Hands to pursue full-time work in spiritual direction, likely partnering with Stepping Stone Ministries. We celebrate his obedience to this next step and the profound legacy he leaves behind.

As the founder of this ministry, John laid the foundation for a community built on compassion, and friendship with the poor. Through tireless service, courageous leadership, and faithful presence, he has modeled what it means to love our neighbors in both word and deed.

John’s legacy is written not only in community partnerships, but in the lives touched & the hope provided in the friendships he formed.
