Description
Welcome to the Lebanon Special School District. Our district serves approximately 4,100 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth grade. Our school system is served by over 615 dedicated men and women who are “Committed to a Community of Excellence” for all of our students. Our district includes five elementary schools (Byars Dowdy, Castle Heights, Coles Ferry, Jones Brummett, and Sam Houston) and two middle schools (Walter J. Baird and Winfree Bryant).
Our success as a school district is the result of the commitment to our students and to excellence made by staff and faculty, in partnership with families, the Board of Education and our community partners. Our goal is to provide the best education possible to each student and the collaboration of the above parties is essential to this goal.
