Mark Pody

Mark Pody has served the people of Tennessee with distinction as a member of the State Senate from the 110th through the 114th General Assemblies, following service in the Tennessee House of Representatives during the 107th through the 110th General Assemblies. A committed Republican leader and community advocate, he also serves as Chairman of the Tennessee Legislative Prayer Caucus. Senator Pody’s extensive civic and professional involvement includes membership in the NFIB, Lions Club, Tennessee Firearms Association, NRA, Tennessee Right to Life, Gideons International, and the National Association of Financial & Insurance Advisors. He is actively engaged with numerous local chambers of commerce, including those in Lebanon, Wilson County, Watertown, East Wilson, Cannon County, Clay County, DeKalb County, and Smith County. In addition to being a private pilot and member of the Civil Air Patrol, Senator Pody has earned recognition as a Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant, while also serving as Past President of the General Agents & Managers Association. His dedication to service extends throughout the community through organizations such as the Lebanon Rotary Club and his role as Finance Chairman for the Boy Scouts in Lebanon, Tennessee.
