This all-youth production retains all the charm, humor, and warmth of the original story. They’re all here: Aunt Polly, Aunt Sally, Tom Sawyer, Jim, and the rest of the folk who make up the Phelps household. A faithful dramatization of the Mark Twain classic, set against the racially charged backdrop of a pre-Civil War American South, America’s most beloved coming-of-age tale examines the nature of friendship and freedom in the face of shocking prejudice.  Escape with this brilliant cast down the Mississippi River, where the characters will learn that thinking for themselves is the bravest act of all.
