Economic Development Division Meeting

Join us this month for the Economic Development Division and hear from guest speaker Jessica Hill, AICP, PMP. Jessica leads the Community and Regional Planning Department at the Greater Nashville Regional Council (GNRC).

The Greater Nashville Regional Council (GNRC) is helping the County update its 2006 Future Land Use Plan. This Plan is an important tool used to guide growth and development and allows residents and officials to set goals for land use and zoning. The process aims to build consensus among community members, stakeholders, and elected officials and provide clear guidance for future land use decisions.

Jessica has over 14 years of experience in local and regional government in the areas of land use and transportation planning, facilitation and public engagement, and sustainability. She excels at building partnerships across government, non-profit, and the business sectors.  She received her Master of City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
