Women in the Lead: Have Your Cake & Eat It, Too

The Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce hosted a unique installment of the Women in the Lead series at the beautiful Working Man Winery. Usually a lunch & learn event, this session offered a refreshing twist: an evening of networking with a focus on personal connections.

This time, we embraced a speed-dating format where guests switched tables every few minutes and answered thought-provoking questions. The one rule — NO talking about work! This allowed for raw, authentic conversations and meaningful connections beyond our professional lives.

The evening was paired with a flight of wine tastings, provided by Working Man Winery. This perfect touch allowed guests to unwind, while connecting in a relaxed atmosphere.

Women in the Lead is coordinated by Nikki Jones of Compass Leadership Solutions. Her committment to empowering women is evident through her coordination of the series. By bringing women together from diverse backgrounds, Women in the Lead has created a supportive community where participants can share experiences and develop as professionals.

It is so inspiring to see how our Women in the Lead series continues to evolve, while sticking close to the underlying message of the importance of women supporting women. Let’s continue to lead, support, and uplift each other!
