A Great Place to Stay, Play & Enjoy!

We are the communities of Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Watertown, located a few short miles from Nashville. Ranked eighth in the nation and third in the Southeast for quality of life and scenic beauty with a mix of historic and cosmopolitan allure, it’s easy to see why we are…the place to be!

There’s great value in experiencing downtime, and we offer plenty of it with shopping opportunities, historic sites, quaint communities to see, golf courses to play, treasures to find in antique shops or attractions to visit like; cultural museums, Native American mound, Civil War sites and more.

For the outdoor enthusiasts, we’re blessed with two state parks, a river and two lakes. Come experience hiking trails, nature walks, horseback riding or canoe rides. Also scattered throughout are community parks with activities for the whole family, including playground equipment for children, wading pools and ball fields.

Don’t miss our “Promised Land Trail,” one of several trails along the Discover Tennessee Trails & Byways Program, showcasing the state’s major sites, as well as its off-the-beaten-path attractions. The local trail begins in Nashville and follows Highway 70, where you can experience rich history, great food, shopping and more. It was said to have been a challenge for many of Tennessee’s first settlers to make their way from Northeast Tennessee, over the Cumberland Plateau and into Nashville. Many of them believed they were headed to a “promised land.” For information on the Promised Land Trail along the Discover Tennessee Trails & Byways, visit www.tntrailsandbyways.com.

Tennessee is also a perfect touring ground for Civil War enthusiasts. In fact, more conflicts took place in our state than in any other state except Virginia. Tennessee’s significance in the War Between the States was due in large part to its critical river and railroad systems. Today you can follow in the footsteps of the “Blue and Gray” on battlegrounds large and small following Tennessee’s Civil War Trail. The City of Lebanon has five sites on the trail interpreted by the Civil War Trails program. www.tnvacation.com/civil-war.
