Christmas 1-2-3

It’s almost that time of year again! As the weather gets colder, we are gearing up for a holiday season full of fun and festivities! The three Christmas events that the Chamber partners with local organizations to put on, nicknamed Christmas 1-2-3 Lebanon Tennessee, will begin on November 28.

 

The Festival of Lights, which highlights Fiddlers Grove Historic Village and the James E. Ward Agricultural Center, will be open November 28-30 and December 4-7, 11-14, 18-31. The light show features displays such as a Grinch in the jail and the twelve days of Christmas. While driving through the Festival of Lights, visitors may tune their radios to a local station for information about the displays, the history of the show, etc. The Festival of Lights will be open 5-9 p.m. nightly. Admission is $5 per vehicle.

Christmas on the Square is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 6. The day will begin with holiday shopping and open house from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. at various stores around the square. Holiday activities including entertainment, a live nativity scene, and pictures with Santa at the Chamber office, will take place from 3-7 p.m.  

Historic Lebanon will have their annual Tour of Homes from 5-8:30 p.m. on December 6. Tickets for the Tour of Homes will be available at the Chamber office beginning Monday, November 24 for $8. Tickets may also be purchased on the day of the event for $10.

The Lebanon Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday, December 7 beginning at 2 p.m. This year’s parade theme is “A Country Christmas.” The Chamber’s President Sue Vanatta will serve as Grand Marshal. The parade will begin at the old Lebanon High School, will travel down Harding Drive, and will end at the D.T. McCall shopping center.
