Astronomy night under the Stars

There will be a presentation at 7:00 about the constellations, planets, galaxies, star clusters, and other objects visible that night. Viewing will begin afterwards at 8:00 and continue until at least midnight. This is a special time of year when the winter constellations are still visible early in the evening and the summer constellations start rising later. The Milky Way might even be on display later in the evening. Our special guest speaker and presenter is Randy Oakes.
Attendees should plan on bringing chairs if desired. White light interferes with night vision, please bring a red flashlight or put red cellophane (park has limited supply) over your regular flashlight. Feel free to bring your binoculars or telescope if you have them.
