July 21, 2015 was a big day for Lebanon and all inhabitants of the city. The Lebanon Historic Square, which has been under construction for several months, was celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony conducted by The Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the City of Lebanon. The ceremony was aimed at highlighting the square’s renovations that are finally complete and at acknowledging this week being declared as Lebanon’s first annual “Shop Local” week by City Mayor Philip Craighead.

Other speakers at the ceremony included Chamber President Melanie Minter, State Representative Mark Pody, City Council Rob Cesternino, TDOT Commissioner John Schroer, and State Representative Susan Lynn.

The Chamber would like to extend an additional thanks to everyone that supported this project and made it possible. Your efforts yielded a great addition to our city that will cause the city to thrive and go “round and round” about the circle of success.
