Unique Boutique Ribbon Cutting

We had the honor of conducting a very special Ribbon Cutting ceremony last Thursday at the Lebanon Senior Citizens Center!

The Unique Boutique, located in the Lebanon Senior Citizens Center, is a special mission dedicated to providing seniors access to unique items at bargain prices. Established in 2006 by Ms. Evelyn Price, the boutique not only offers an enjoyable shopping experience but also helps fund the vital programs and services of the Senior Citizens Center.

The renovated space features additional square footage, a dressing room, and an external door for easier drop-offs, along with the option to make the boutique open to the public. These upgrades are part of broader facility improvements aimed at enhancing services for the community.

The Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce conducted a second Ribbon Cutting at the center. The boutique’s former location now serves as additional storage for the center’s food pantry and a reservable conference room. In honor of the Unique Boutique’s founder, the original space has been dedicated to Ms. Evelyn Price and is now known as the “Price Activity Room.”

Central Pike Elementary Groundbreaking

Yesterday, we had the honor of attending the official groundbreaking ceremony for Central Pike Elementary, hosted by Wilson County Schools. Scheduled to open in August 2026, this state-of-the-art school will span approximately 127,000 square feet, featuring 50 classrooms with a total capacity of over 1,000 students. The new school will help alleviate overcrowding at Gladeville Elementary and Rutland Elementary, ensuring our children have the space and resources they need to thrive.

First Presbyterian Church of Lebanon Columbarium Dedication & Ribbon Cutting

The vision for the columbarium began in 2019, when the church recognized the need for such a space to meet the growing needs of our congregation. A dedicated committee was formed to explore the project. Hal Bone, a church member and the owner of Horizon Construction, helped in bringing the vision to life — making the construction process a reality.
