Habitat for Humanity ReStore Ribbon Cutting
Exciting news for Wilson County! Habitat for Humanity ReStore of Wilson County hosted a Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening at its brand new location on July 16. The ceremony was conducted by the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce.
ReStore Director – Jennifer Keaton and Jeff Bennett, Director of Regional Operations for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville are pictured with ReStore staff, board members and supporters. City of Lebanon, TN – Government Mayor Rick Bell, Tennessee State Representative Clark Boyd, Senator Mark Pody, and Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Melanie Minter are pictured. Following the ceremony, guests had the opportunity to be the first to shop at the new ReStore.
Habitat ReStores are independently owned reuse stores operated by local Habitat for Humanity organizations. ReStores accept donations and sell a constantly changing inventory of diverse, high-quality merchandise to the public at a fraction of the retail price, while diverting reusable household items and building materials from area landfills. The sales from donated items help Habitat for Humanity partner with local families to build, rehabilitate and repair safe and affordable homes.
