
Mayor Hutto Holds Panel Discussionto Discuss Utilities and Broadband
Join Wilson County Mayor, Randall Hutto and local utility districts and broadband providers as they address the topic of “Utilities and Broadband” on Tuesday, April 30th from 7:30-9:30AM at the College Hills Church of Christ.
Wilson County Mayor, Randall Hutto kicked off 2024 with the 3-part seminar series: “Looking Into the Future.” The series shares how the county, cities, partners in economic development, utilities, and businesses have prepared for the future. The upcoming meeting is 2nd in the 3-part series.
Join us and take a deeper dive into topics relevant to the community now and into the future! You’ve attended the State of the County and the State of the City Addresses; now learn details behind the big picture which impact decision making.
The panel discussion will address “Utilities and Broadband” at the College Hills Church of Christ. Moderated by Mayor Hutto, the panel consists of representatives from DTC Communications, (DeKalb Telecommunications Company), MTE (Middle Tennessee Electric), United Communications, West Wilson Utility District, Wilson County Water and Wastewater Authority, LaGuardo Utility District and the Gladeville Utility District. Come hear the perspectives from the county and its three cities!
Admission is FREE. The session opens at 7:30AM with a light breakfast and networking until 8:00AM. Mayor Hutto will kick off the program at 8:00AM and will conclude at 9:30AM.
MTE (Middle Tennessee Electric) is the presenting sponsor of the seminar series. The 1st of the 3-part series was held on February 6th and its topic was “Infrastructure.” The third event will be held at Providence Church on October 1, 2024 with a focus on “Planning and Growth” in the Fall.
