Offering 24/7 care, medication reminders, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), The Geneva House provides a nurturing environment where residents receive the personalized attention they deserve.

Founded by sisters LaDonya and Holly Draper, The Geneva House was born from their deeply personal journey to find an affordable, loving home for their great aunt Geneva. With over 40 years of combined experience in healthcare, their careers have been guided by a shared passion for compassionate, individualized care. When their two-year search for the ideal environment for Aunt Geneva came up short, they decided to create it themselves — a place where every resident feels like family.

Annual Holiday Business After Hours at Dempsey Vantrese & Follis PLLC

Tuesday night, we gathered at Dempsey Vantrese & Follis PLLC for the Annual Holiday Business After Hours! This event offered a perfect way to connect with fellow Chamber members, expand your network, and learn more about an incredible local business.

Of course, our Chamber Pot kept everyone on the edge of their seats! Beverly McCann and Harmon Transactions were drawn, but since no one was present to claim the prize, the pot rolls over to $350 at our next Business After Hours — remember, you must be present to win!

With an average turnout of 50-100 attendees, these events provide a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere to grow your network and discover what our members have to offer. A special shoutout to all the new members who joined us and shared more about their businesses!

Thank you to Dempsey Vantrese & Follis for hosting this wonderful evening. We look forward to seeing everyone at the next event!

Unique Boutique Ribbon Cutting

We had the honor of conducting a very special Ribbon Cutting ceremony last Thursday at the Lebanon Senior Citizens Center!

The Unique Boutique, located in the Lebanon Senior Citizens Center, is a special mission dedicated to providing seniors access to unique items at bargain prices. Established in 2006 by Ms. Evelyn Price, the boutique not only offers an enjoyable shopping experience but also helps fund the vital programs and services of the Senior Citizens Center.

The renovated space features additional square footage, a dressing room, and an external door for easier drop-offs, along with the option to make the boutique open to the public. These upgrades are part of broader facility improvements aimed at enhancing services for the community.

The Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce conducted a second Ribbon Cutting at the center. The boutique’s former location now serves as additional storage for the center’s food pantry and a reservable conference room. In honor of the Unique Boutique’s founder, the original space has been dedicated to Ms. Evelyn Price and is now known as the “Price Activity Room.”

Central Pike Elementary Groundbreaking

Yesterday, we had the honor of attending the official groundbreaking ceremony for Central Pike Elementary, hosted by Wilson County Schools. While groundwork began earlier this fall, yesterday marked a significant milestone as we celebrated the start of construction for this exciting new addition to our community.

Scheduled to open in August 2026, this state-of-the-art school will span approximately 127,000 square feet, featuring 50 classrooms with a total capacity of over 1,000 students. The new school will help alleviate overcrowding at Gladeville Elementary and Rutland Elementary, ensuring our children have the space and resources they need to thrive.

We’re proud to see the community’s dedication to fostering an exceptional educational environment for future generations. Welcome, Central Pike Elementary Coyotes!

Lebanon’s 2024 Christmas Parade: Toys Through the Ages

This past Sunday, December 1, the City of Lebanon, TN – Government and the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce came together to host Lebanon’s 2024 Christmas Parade: Toys Through the Ages — and what a celebration it was!

In honor of the Chamber’s 100th Anniversary, we proudly recognized two Charter Members, Cumberland University and the Lebanon Democrat, as this year’s Grand Marshals. Their century-long dedication to the Chamber and our community is an inspiration. The Grand Marshall Float was sponsored by Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital. From classic toys to modern favorites, the creativity on display throughout the parade was amazing!

Thank you to Bob Zenker & the Chamber’s Special Events Division for working tirelessly to coordinate the parade. We want to thank everyone who helped make this event memorable: volunteers, participants, and, of course, the spectators who filled the streets with holiday spirit!

We also would like to extend a huge thank you to Armstrong Construction for sponsoring the Chamber’s 100-Year Float, which will continue to spread holiday cheer in all Wilson County parades this season.
